It seems like all elections are crazy close now a days, but this is ridiculous.
The Moldova EU referendum is not on joining the EU right now, but on expressing a wish to join in the future, as I understand it.

It is a constitutional amendment. It adds a new article on integration in the EU, proclaiming that joining is a strategic objective of Moldova, and that the identity of the Moldovan people is European.
