CBS News, citing former NOAA officials still in contact with current employees, reported that the agency was told to expect a 50% reduction in staff and a 30% reduction to its budget. NOAA primarily gathers data on changes to the climate and weather patterns. It took me 2 months to complete this vase, which I made to honor the power & purpose of hurricanes. We made it through 3 strong storms last year. Milton caused a spiritual & mental shift moving me to “let go of that which no longer served me.” (That included Instagram, btw!) There is more to hurricanes than destruction & despair. They move nutrients from sea to land and renew ecosystems. I used #GulfCoast clays from LA, FL & AL to decorate the surface. #pottery #clay #hurricane #transformation

Well it’s that time of the year for me - homeowner #insurance policy renewal. Who has been cancelled after making a claim? Who is your carrier? Mine was in May unrelated to #hurricane or #tornado

My carrier is #ncfarmbureau and told me I would not be cancelled for making a claim (did not believe them but took the chance). But now a manager in underwriting has changed the rules and yes, I’m #cancelled.
